I’ve shared many times the importance of designations for real estate agents. One that I think is especially important in our current market is the Accredited Buyers Representation (ABR) designation.
The ABR “is for real estate buyer’s agents who focus on working directly with buyer-clients at every stage of the home buying process.” Can you represent a buyer without this designation? Of course. But can you represent a buyer as well without the designation? Definitely not.
The ABR designation elevates my ability to support and effectively help my buyer through specialized information, updates on ongoing issues, and trends and marketing. And it give me a platform to network with other agents when it’s time to refer a buyer who is moving into a different market.
Every designation that I have is an investment of my time, money and my desire to better serve my clients. Knowledge really is power!
