When I have a buyer or seller to refer in my network of professionals, one of the first designations I look for is a CRS. CRS stands for “Certified Residential Specialist”. The CRS designation tells me someone has been in the market long enough that they know how to market residential property and they understand the communication, style, and knowledge needed to work with sellers and buyers. When I am making a referral for a client or friend, I choose a professional with the CRS designation because it gives me confidence that my referral will be given the best care available.
I have had the CRS designation for over 20 years. Investing the time and resources to maintain this designation is very important to me. The courses and training provide valuable information for helping my clients – Experience really does matter! The CRS designation also provides a network of professionals to seek advice from, brainstorm, and share best practices when needed.
